The Camco Chemicals Safety, Health and
Environmental Quality Statement

	The responsible use of chemicals — be it their transportation, use or disposal — is at the core of Camco's philosophy.

Camco and its senior management team are pledged to support a better environment. That commitment includes:

• The communication of this policy to all of its employees
• Making this policy available to the general public.
• The stewardship of all operations through adoption of the guiding principles of Responsible Care™; and
• Consideration of environmental health and safety factors in product and manufacturing methods.

The range of this commitment includes: procurement, transportation, receipt, handling, storage, testing, use, discharge and disposal of all chemicals used in its operations. Camco chemical directs these operations through an environmental management system having the primary objectives of:

• Meeting or exceeding all applicable government ISO 14000, Responsible Care™ and health and safety requirements and voluntary requirements to which Camco Chemicals subscribes;
• Reducing the impact of operations on the environment by the establishment of pollution preventive objectives and targets at each relevant function and level of the organization. Progress toward meeting those objectives, targets and goals is subsequently reviewed during the management review process.
• Continually improving Camco's Environmental management system and its performance;
• Identifying and controlling workplace hazards, and training all employees to contribute to the quality of their environment;
• Conducting rigorous audits and self-assessments of Camco's compliance with this policy, and measuring progress of Camco's environmental performance; and
• Promoting openness in dealing with stakeholders with consideration of employees and public input.
